Women’s History Month

“There is no flower-strewn path to success. And if there is, I have not found it, for if I have accomplished anything in life it is because I have been willing to work hard.” –-Madam C. J. Walker

The mark of women is remarkably stunning in many ways. Women for centuries have been fighters of equality in all areas of life. Women of the past has fought to assure that women of the future have the rights to a decent living, the right to equality of life and education, and live without being in fear.

This ensemble I am wearing is a way of showing empowerment in women and how we have came so far to get to where we are now. I love a great African print. The prints in this skirt are so bold and speak volume. The details in the skirt are very delicate and different. Slightly heavy and can touch the floor if wearing flats. I kept the top simple, by wearing a tank top to put the direct focus on the skirt. I added the jean jacket for fun. You can wear it of choice or not. The open-toed crimson shoes are from Payless and added the pop of red to add to the skirt.

This outfit speaks volume! Happy Women’s History Month!
